Assembly is a time for quiet reflection or celebration and it sets the tone for the ethos of the school. The subject of the assembly will usually emphasise/develop one or more for the following themes: Life-Long Learning, Healthy individuals, Global citizens, Reflective individuals, Creative thinkers. The assembly is also an occasion for rewarding excellence and individual achievement.
A school assembly is always held on the first/last day of term. There are regular assemblies in the week for most students, a Key Stage assembly, and a Sunday/Thursday assembly. The Thursday assembly is not usually attended by Nursery or Reception.
§ Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 Year group, Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 assemblies are held fortnightly.
§ Upper/Lower school assemblies are held every Sunday/Thursday respectively.
House assemblies are held each term.
