The secondary section has grown considerably and today offers English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, ICT, History, Geography, Design Technology, Art, Music, PE, Business Studies, Economics, French, Urdu, Spanish, Hindi and Arabic.
Today the school offers mainstream education for the full age range of three to eighteen years of age. From September, the school will have over 1300 pupils and many teachers most of them coming from the United Kingdom. A sixth form has also been created.
DES also offers Drama, Media and Islamic studies.
